It supports all major operating systems including Windows, Mac OS, and Linux. It is truly plug-and-play, ready to operate right out of the box. No new driver installation is required.
The USB Ultimate Extender works with all USB device types: control, interrupt, bulk, and isochronous at up to 480 Mbps. It is ideal for a wide variety of USB devices, including printers, scanners, hard drives, audio devices, touch screens, and Web cams.
The USB Ultimate Extenders extend these devices up to 275m using 62.5µ multimode fibre (OM1), up to 500m over 50µ multimode fibres (OM2+) and tremendous 10 km using single mode cables.
An AC power adapter at the remote unit provides up to 1 Amp per port and 2.5 Amps total shared among up to four ports.
